Brenslie Ridge Holdings, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Decide a Date mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

By using Decide a Date, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Location Information

Decide a Date uses your device's location to find restaurants, activities, and events near you. This is the core function of the App — without location, the App cannot suggest anything.

• We request location access only while you are actively using the App. We do not collect background location.
• Your location is used to search for nearby places and events, and to calculate how far away each result is.
• We do not store your location history on our servers. Your coordinates are used to perform a search and are not retained as a record of where you have been.
• You may decline location access. The App will still open, but its core features will not function until access is granted. You can change this at any time in your device settings.

Account Information

If you create an account, we collect the credentials required to authenticate you (such as your email address). Account creation is optional where the App permits use without it.

Information Collected Automatically

• Device type, operating system version, and app version
• Crash diagnostics and error reports
• Basic usage information used to keep the App running correctly

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your contacts, photos, calendar, microphone, or camera data.
• We do not collect payment information. Decide a Date is free to use.
• We do not build advertising profiles about you.

3. Third-Party Services

Decide a Date relies on the following third-party services to function. When you use the App, certain information — including your approximate coordinates — is sent to these providers so they can return nearby results.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Find and display restaurants, activities, and events near your location
• Calculate distances between you and the places we show you
• Keep your saved preferences, such as your search radius and price range
• Authenticate your account, if you have created one
• Diagnose crashes and fix problems in the App
• Comply with legal obligations

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We do not sell or share your location data with data brokers or advertisers.

We share information only with the service providers listed in Section 3, and only to the extent required for the App to work.

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or where necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

6. Advertising

Decide a Date may display promotional listings from local businesses. These placements are managed by us directly and are not powered by third-party advertising networks. We do not share your personal data or your location history with advertisers. Advertisers do not receive information that identifies you.

7. Data Retention and Your Rights

• Preferences you set in the App are stored on your own device and are removed when you uninstall the App.
• If you created an account, we retain your account information for as long as the account remains active.
• You may request deletion of your account and any associated personal data by emailing us at the address in Section 10. We will process the request within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it, and the right to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10.

8. Children's Privacy

Decide a Date is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated within the App. Continued use of the App after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
